Therapy for Overachievers who "Have it All"
...when life looks good on paper but doesn't feel that way inside

Man with mobile phone

DOES "THE GOOD LIFE" NOT FEEL SO GOOD?

On paper your life looks amazing! You're successful, independent and powerful. Yet something just feels off. You're going through the motions and don't know how to stop. You want to be happier, but you don't know how. And you feel bad about it all because you're privileged.

ARE YOU AIMING FOR AUTHENTICITY?

You're passionate, talented and motivated! You get positive feedback about what a great person you are, but the praise seems shallow, like people aren't really seeing YOU. You want to open up more, but are afraid parts of you and your past are unacceptable.

DOES IMPOSTER SYNDROME HAVE YOU DOWN?

You've overcome major challenges. Setbacks don't keep you down long! You have hopes and dreams for a better life and better world, but you're too exhausted to execute. It feels like you're faking it and is only a matter of time before someone sees through the facade.

Hi, I'm Tessa

Most of my life, I’ve looked like someone who has their shit together. In many ways, that’s true.

But when searching for a counselor in my 20's, I had trouble finding one who could help me process my emotional pain and face my struggles, despite what was on the surface.

So, I decided to become that therapist for other high-achievers, who's lives look good on paper, but don't feel that way inside.

I know better than most that:

just because it doesn't show, doesn't mean it doesn't hurt.

The Way It Is

There’s a thread you follow. It goes among
things that change. But it doesn’t change.
People wonder about what you are pursuing.
You have to explain about the thread.
But it is hard for others to see.
While you hold it you can’t get lost.
Tragedies happen; people get hurt
or die; and you suffer and get old.
Nothing you do can stop time’s unfolding.
You don’t ever let go of the thread.
